Got ideas?
Interested in ideas?
Want to share your idea with others who are interested in ideas?
We’re looking for presenters to participate in the third annual ideawave conference in Victoria. Ideawave is all about ideas. The conference is a series of 50 talks over two days. It’s an opportunity to hear a vast array of ideas and network with other critical thinkers who are as passionate about ideas as you are.
Our presenters come from all walks of life and talk about all manner of ideas. If you’re a high school student and wish to submit an idea for a talk, please click here.
Ideas for presentations can be large or small. They can be business ideas, project ideas or just fun ideas. There are no subject restrictions and the only criterion is that it is your own idea. Each presentation is a maximum of 10 minutes in length. While drafting your submission, please focus on the uniqueness of the idea, and how engaging the idea will be when presented.
You can get an idea of how diverse the ideas can be by reviewing the 2010 IdeaWave Speaker list
Benefits of presenting:
- Presenters receive a complimentary pass to the conference.
- Talks will be recorded and may published on the ideawave.ca website as well as televised.
- Networking opportunities
Please allow us a few weeks to respond to your submission, as you can imagine there are a lot of submissions for us to review.
Talks will be accepted until you see 50 talks posted on the conference page. We will update this page saying talks are no longer being accepted when that happens.
